活動に終止符を打つソフト・セルの10枚組豪華BOXが9月7日に発売決定！

ソフト・セル（Soft Cell）結成40周年を記念したキャリア総括の10枚組豪華ボックス（9CD＋1DVD）が9月にリリースされます。

英国のニュー・ウェイヴ・シーンを代表する、マーク・アーモンドとデイヴ・ボールによるユニット、ソフト・セル。

 

全世界で2100万枚以上のセールスを記録している彼らが残した未発表音源を含んだ130曲と4時間を越える映像を収録した10枚組のボックス『Keychains & Snowstorms – The Soft Cell Story』が9月7日に発売されることが発表になりました。

 

今回のボックスはマーク・アーモンドとデイヴ・ボールの監修のもと、制作期間を2年費やして完成したもの。

 

リマスター音源やレア・トラックはもちろん、未発表音源や、ブートレグでしか手に入らなかったものも収録されます。

 

4時間近くの映像が収録されたDVDには、『Tainted Love』発売数週間前の1981年5月のリーズでのライヴや、テレビ・パフォーマンス、ドキュメンタリー、プロモ映像などが高画質の映像で収められています。ブックレットには未公開写真や、本人たちによるライナーノーツなどを収録予定。

 

また、このボックスに収録された1983年発表の「Martin」のHallowe’en Mixの映像がYouTubeに新たに公開されました。

 

 

なおセフト・セルは、2018年9月30日にO2アリーナで行われるファイナル・ライヴをもって、その活動に終止符を打ちます。
